Impact of Microfinance on Poverty Alleviation

  Abstract It is widely accepted that the microfinance programme is a means to alleviate poverty in underdeveloped nations. Poverty has been shown to have a negative impact on an economy’s health and the well-being of its citizens. As an outcome, the focus of this dissertation is on the effectiveness of micro financing in Poverty alleviation. Microfinance, in particular, was examined as a factor in the well-being of the borrower’s family, as well as in their agricultural endeavours.
